The Worshipful Company of Butchers has a new member

We are delighted that Stuart Robson, Group Purchasing Director, has been admitted to the Freedom and Livery of the Worshipful Company of Butchers, recognising years of service and knowledge to the industry.  This formal process (which has taken 9 months to complete) included becoming a Freeman of the City of London which he was awarded in May of this year and culminated at a ceremony in London on 10 June where he was officially clothed.

The Worshipful Company of Butchers is one of the oldest of the 110 City of London Livery Companies – they can trace their roots all the way back to 975 AD – and are ranked 24th in order of precedence.
